Our Wild Weekend at Bathurst
Share
What a wild, thrilling race this year's Bathurst 12 Hour was.
As official timekeeper of the event for the fourth year running, we knew the weekend would be special. But we didn't expect that.
Twenty seconds. That's how long it took for our Elemental Bathurst Limited Edition to sell out after appearing on the live broadcast Sunday morning. Fifty watches. Gone. Before the cars even crossed the finish line.
We're still processing it.

The Build-Up: Friday and Saturday
Mount Panorama isn't just a racetrack. It's a pilgrimage.
We arrived Friday with a group of friends of the brand — watch collectors, motorsport fans, people who just get what we're trying to do with Bausele. The plan was simple: soak it all in. Qualifying sessions. Behind-the-scenes access. The kind of access you don't get anywhere else.
Saturday brought the real action: Qualifying Parts 1 & 2, followed by the Pirelli Pole Battle at 4:15 PM. Watching GT3 cars attack Conrod Straight at full noise, then brake hard into The Chase — it never gets old. The sound. The speed. The precision. It's why we're here.
Between sessions, we took the group on a behind-the-scenes tour of the circuit. Trophy room. Podium. The places most fans never see. Standing on that podium, looking out over the mountain, you understand why this race matters. Why drivers come from all over the world to compete here.
One of our guests, Jody, captured the weekend perfectly in this video. He nailed the vibe — the anticipation, the community, the raw energy of Mount Panorama. If you want to know what it feels like to be there, watch that.

Sunday Morning: 5:45 AM Start
Race day starts before dawn at Bathurst. 5:45 AM green flag. The mountain is still dark. The air is cold. And then the field launches into turn one, and it's chaos.
Twelve hours of non-stop GT3 racing. International stars. Local Supercars heroes. Exotic machinery pushing the limits lap after lap. Strategy calls. Pit stops. Crashes. Comebacks. Everything that makes endurance racing beautiful and brutal.
We were in the corporate suite with our guests, rotating between watching the race unfold and checking our phones. Because we knew something was coming.

The Drop: 20 Seconds
Sunday mid-morning, the live broadcast cut to our suite. Camera on the watches. Jack talking about the Elemental Bathurst Limited Edition — red dial, Mount Panorama rubber from the track sealed in the crown, built specifically for this race.
Fifty pieces. Made to order. Available now.
Twenty seconds later, they were gone.
Not an exaggeration. We watched the counter tick down in real-time. Fifty orders in twenty seconds. Sold out before we could process what was happening.
The suite erupted. Our guests were laughing, cheering, pulling out their phones to show us screenshots of the sold-out page. It was surreal.
We've done well at Bathurst before — it's our fourth year as official timekeeper — but this was different. This was validation. Proof that when you build something people genuinely want, and you give them a story worth telling, they show up.

Why Bathurst Matters to Bausele
Mount Panorama isn't just a race. It's a test.
The best drivers in the world come here to prove themselves on one of the most unforgiving circuits on the planet. Six kilometers of elevation changes, blind corners, and no room for error. You either respect the mountain, or it humbles you.
That's what we're trying to do with Bausele. Build watches that respect craft. That don't take shortcuts. That embed something real — like Mount Panorama rubber in the crown — instead of just talking about it.
The Bathurst 12 Hour is speed, precision, and endurance. It's also community. Fans who camp out for three days. Teams who've been racing here for decades. Brands like us who believe in showing up year after year, not because it's easy, but because it matters.
What's Next
The Elemental Bathurst Limited Edition is gone, but the Elemental collection continues. New colors. New stories. New drops coming soon.
And we'll be back at Bathurst in 2027. Fifth year as official timekeeper. More watches. More moments. More late nights wondering if we're actually going to pull this off.
Because that's the thing about Mount Panorama: it keeps pulling you back.
