Bausele Public Collaborationsare limited edition watches that are especially designed in partnership with some iconic Australian & International Brands. They are one-off premium collaborations created in limited quantities to a few lucky watchlovers! The Fokker has been our most recent collaboration, featuring a piece of a Fokker plane in the side of the caseback! A piece of aviation history.
Bausele was chosen as the Official Watch for the Royal Australian Air Force in 2021 and created the automatic watches: The Airfield and Aviator which feature a piece of the Caribou, Hercules or F/A-18 RAAF plane in the caseback or in a keyring (dependent on 1st or 2nd gen). This special collaboration has been a milestone for the brand and it has been an honour to commemorate those who have served.
We also created beautiful automatic timepieces (inspired by our iconic Oceanmoon IV design) for Australian watch groups: Australian Watch Forum and Paxton Watchfest in 2021. With the Paxton model featuring a sunray dial and sand from nearby to Uluru in the crown. The iconic Australian Artist, Scott Marsh collaborated with Bausele in 2018 to develop his own 'Noosa' Bausele Watch, with one of his beautiful abstract artworks on the dial. The unforgettable Opera House timepiece was released in 2018, with a crushed Opera House tile in the crown. The dial was designed to form a perfect outline of the Opera House 'arches' at the exact time The Queen cut the ribbon to open The Opera House to the world in 1973. Lastly, the Terra Australis, a statement collection in partnership with Flinders University. Flinders University and Bausele created a new case material with treated rock, coined 'Bauselite.' A true innovation in the watch industry. More exciting announcements to come in 2022, get in contact with us to join our mailing list for updates!
Models still availableBausele Internal Collaborationsare watches that were designed specifically for organisations/schools/groups and their internal members. You can see above some recent collaborations we have undertaken since 2017 (many unrecorded prior to 2017). These watches are handcrafted, engraved with crests/logos/limited edition numbers upon request, personalised design details and are not available to the public. Please note we have not mentioned half of our collaborations due to the nature of these organisations that require complete secrecy. If you would like Bausele to create a special timepiece for your organisation get in contact via info@bausele.com
Bausele Originals are models that Christophe Hoppe, our Founder and Head Designer created. Embodying the essence of Bausele: adventurous, fun and unique. From the humble beginnings of the Oceanmoon I diving series, which transitions to a luminescent dial and tide/moon indicator functions (in the Oceanmoon II and III) and now to the highly anticipated automatic diving watch The Oceanmoon IV. The ChronoS quartz yachting models became a quick favourite, especially with Bespoke corporate customers. The Pilot Automatic serves a unique user- originally designed for pilots with the numbers on the side to make it easy to read while flying a plane. We can't forget about the Noosa series, always a standout with the stylish circular case and beautiful finishes. And the Vintage 2.0 -Bausele's first hybrid smartwatch! This watch filled the gap in the market for a watch that looks more traditional but actually has smartwatch capabilities (without the ugly touchscreen), tracking sleep and activity to name a few functions. And of course in every watch crown (except the Vintage 2.0 hybrid smartwatch) you have sand from an iconic Australian beach, to take a bit of Australia with you!
