This model is inspired by watches from a time when they were kept for life. In the 1940s, military watches followed well-defined aesthetic codes. A brushed metal case so as not to reflect light, a Beige dial with luminous hands and numbers that told time at a glance in the dark of night, and a straightforward but ultra-precise and ultra-robust movement… In addition, 10% of sales goes towards supporting organizations that provide assistance to veterans. All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. As soon as your order has been despatched you will receive notification with your tracking number
DELIVERY WITHIN USA: We ship with UPS and the delivery time is usually 3 – 5 business days (excluding public holidays)
DELIVERY OUTSIDE USA: We ship to all countries worldwide using UPS Express which is a fully tracked door to door service. Delivery times are usually within 7 business days (excluding public holidays).
TAXES
When purchasing your watch for export, your local duties will be collected by the transporter before delivery.
RETURNS POLICY
You can return any BAUSELE product up to 14 days after receiving delivery should it be not suitable. Simply lodge a return request by clicking HERE and our support team will then assist you with your return. Please note you will have to arrange and pay the cost of the postage back to us.
We recommend using a fully tracked service as you are responsible for your package until it reaches us. Once we receive your returned item a refund will be processed for the amount of that item paid to us less any taxes and duties paid as these are non-recoverable. If the returned watch is found not to be in original condition we will refund you this amount less any costs required to refurbish the watch to original condition.

BAUSELE MIL-SPEC – A COLLECTION DESIGNED BY A TEAM OF WATCHMAKERS, WATCH LOVERS AND MILITARY VETERANS
From that first inkling of an idea to the first watches being assembled by veteran soldiers, Bausele worked closely with a team of veteran soldiers across the USA on the design of the MIL-SPEC collection of field watch.
BAUSELE brought together a design “task force” composed of 11 veteran soldiers and watch specialists who were involved from the very beginning of the design process, making sure that all aspects of the watch were discussed, challenged and validated. Christophe Hoppé, who usually designs Bausele’s watches by himself, was very excited to bounce ideas around with great minds, pushing the envelope and exploring all the aspects and possibilities of this very special watch design.

BAUSELE MIL-SPEC – THE ORIGIN
Bausele has always had a strong ‘defense’ gene in its DNA ever since it was founded in 2011. The brand originally provided limited edition watches for the Australian Intelligence Corps and the Special Operations Engineers Regiment, and that was before beating out some of the biggest watch names in the world to become the official watch of the Royal Australian Air Force 100th Anniversary in 2021.
Bausele was also the official watch of the Invictus Games held in The Hague in April 2022. This global adaptive sports competition is dedicated to inspiring recovery, supporting rehabilitation and generating a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and Servicewomen, both serving and veterans
This classic field watch, reference 31101, meets the standards described in detail for the watch case construction, shape and size onpage 31 of military specifications MIL-W-46374F(hence the first two digits of the watch reference). It features a 316L surgical grade stainless-steel case (untreated or with black DLC coating), a dial and hands with “old radium” Luminova®, and a domed sapphire crystal with five layers of anti-reflective coating. The automatic, hacking movement (pull the crown and the movement stops so the watch can be synchronized with another timekeeper) is reputed for its precision, reliability and durability. It has 24 jewels, a 41-hour power reserve and is accurate to within -20/+40 seconds per day.
ELEMENT IN THE CROWN
The crown on Ref. 31101 contains natural American soil – visible through the transparent crown cap– from military forts throughout the United States.
