SIZE GUIDE

Case diameter: 38mm
Lug-to-lug: 46mm
Thickness: approximately 11mm
Bracelet: brushed 316L oyster link, 18×16mm, ratcheting clasp with on-wrist micro-adjustment
Strap: 18mm parachute-style elastic olive NATO, quick-release

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR WRIST

Wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone. Mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler. That's your wrist circumference.

The ratcheting clasp lets you fine-tune the fit on the fly, no tools required. Not sure? Size up — a watch that sits slightly loose is always more comfortable than one that's too tight.

  • The dial

Matte black with a fine sandy grain, textured to catch light the way ground does in a low afternoon sun. Cream Super-LumiNova numerals in Old Radium tone, painted to match the warmth of aged tritium, set in period-correct field typography. A sunken small-seconds sub-dial at 4:30, marked "125 ARMY" in signal red. A small red kangaroo above centre.

  • The hands

Bead-blasted silver hour and minute hands, filled with SL-Old Radium luminous. A flat sword profile, the kind of hand that disappears in daylight and reappears the moment the light goes. The seconds hand sits in the offset sub-dial, bead-blast silver, no decoration.

  • The case

316L stainless steel, 38mm wide, 46mm lug-to-lug, around 11mm thick. Brushed finish, matte, no glare, no jewellery polish. Domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective treatment. Drilled lugs. Oversized knurled screw-down crown, 10 ATM water resistance. A Miyota 82S5 automatic inside, chosen for reliability and easy long-term service.

  • 125 YEARS OF THE AUSTRALIAN ARMY

The screw-down caseback carries the Rising Sun 8th Pattern, the Australian Army's protected general service badge, reproduced with the permission of the Australian Army. It is encircled by the words "125 YEARS OF THE AUSTRALIAN ARMY." Below it we engrave your unit, rank and name, alongside your serial, 001/125 through 125/125. Space is left beneath for a mark of your own.

  • The broad arrow

The broad arrow was struck onto British and Commonwealth military-issue equipment. Rifles, watches, kit, everything owned by the Crown. On the 125 Field it is raised and stamped on the top of the crown, where you see it on the wrist. The same mark that appeared on the original 1944 W.W.W. watches, restored to service.

  • Built-in giving

AUD $75 from every 125 Field sold goes directly to an Australian veterans' welfare charity, supporting current and former soldiers and their families. The beneficiary is confirmed following the community vote. No fanfare, no add-on, it's part of the price.

125 years of the Australian Army, in a watch built to the 1944 field spec. Matte black, cream lume, sword hands, and the broad arrow back on the crown.

How this watch came to be. We didn't start with a design. We started with a question asked to serving members, veterans and supporters: what should a watch for 125 years of the Australian Army be? Six months of listening and iterating followed. Then every detail went to the Australian Army for approval. What you see is what we landed on, together.
