Long Weekend

Long Weekend

Made for days without plans.

Friday afternoon. The city drops away behind you, the road opens, and the weekend starts before you've even arrived.

Noosa, the Mornington Peninsula, Palm Beach or the Southern Highlands. Pick your version. Salt air or green hills, a long lunch that runs into the evening, nowhere you have to be.

That's the colour this dial carries. Warm, sun-bleached, easy. The good life, wide open.

Rated to 200 metres. Inside the crown, real Australian sand, a piece of the coast to carry with you.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR WRIST

Wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone. Mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler. That's your wrist circumference.

The Elemental bracelet fits wrists from 15.5cm to 21.5cm. The micro-adjustment clasp lets you fine-tune the fit on the fly, no tools required.

Not sure? Size up. A watch that sits slightly loose is always more comfortable than one that's too tight.

Waiting is its own fun, but glad to be wearing the Bausele now. The website pictures are true to life and the Cooroy Mist has a cool greyscale look. The dual function bezel was the key feature for me, but I wouldn't mind if the outer 60 scale ran counter-clockwise so it worked more naturally as a countdown timer.

Long Weekend

Store owner replied: Thank you so much! I'm delighted to hear the Coorong Mist lived up to your expectations and that the website photos matched the real thing. The timer on the bezel is a count up which is made for Diving...meditating or cook pasta (how I use it:). Thank you again for your patience and support! Christo

I love the dial….having grown up in Wollongong it reminds me of the beaches of the South Coast especially now I live 3hrs from the coast. Some observations - 1) white writing on a sand coloured dial doesn’t provide enough of a contrast 2) white on a sand coloured bezel is the same. Bad for old eyes (haha) I’ve ordered a strap as I find the bracelet a bit heavy. Thanks!

Long Weekend

Store owner replied: Thank you so much! I love hearing that the dial reminds you of the South Coast beaches, a beautiful part of the world. Thank you as well for the constructive feedback on the contrast. It's something I'll definitely keep in mind for future designs. I hope you enjoy the strap too—it gives the watch a completely different feel on the wrist and only 100 grams:) Thanks again for your support! Christo

It did take a little while to get but it was worth it. Very nice watch, unlike anything else that I own. Comfortable to wear and it's unique. You never know what you'll get when you order sight unseen but this one was a pleasant surprise. Just be patient. Regards to the watchmakers. It's a very nice watch

Jolie montre, mais personnellement je trouve que la loupe de la date n'est pas ajustée précisément. La finition manque un peu de précision à ce niveau. Dommage elle aurait pu être parfaite

Long Weekend

The website doesn't do it justice! The dial on my elemental is amazing. I liked it enough to order one, now that I have it in hand I LOVE it. Build quality is top notch. Highly recommend!

Customer photo review of Long Weekend

I love the quality of the piece. It is very well built. The only issue for me was the case back was almost hitting the quick release lugs and can hardly fit my finger in there. It maybe an issue for those who want to switch back and forth from a rubber to a steel bracelet. I intend to keep this on the steel bracelet so it doesn’t bother me too much.

Long Weekend

Store owner replied: Thank you so much for your feedback! You're right, most integrated bracelets don't offer any quick-change system at all. Ours isn't perfect, but with a simple tool you can release both sides and swap between steel, rubber and leather much more easily. A compromise, but one we felt was worth making. Christo

Long Weekend

Long Weekend

Store owner replied: Thank you so much! I'm delighted you're enjoying it. We put so much care into the bracelet and dial, so it means a lot to hear they stand out. Enjoy your watch, and thank you for your support! Christo

I liked it

Long Weekend

Store owner replied: Thank you:) Enjoy! Christo

Recently received a new Coorong Mist. Box is among the most stylish of watches I have purchased and the protective container holding the watch was an unexpected bonus. Dial design is as beautiful in real life as it is in pictures. Finished very nicely as well. 2 surprises-first was the weight which seems very heavy to lift, but it feels fine on the wrist-so not an issue. The other surprise is the band-it appears very nice (actually love it for that) but it is by far the stiffest metal band I have on any watch (and I have too many). However, it was easy to adjust to size and the stiffness doesn't seem a problem when you put it on making this issue immaterial as well. My only real disappointment is in the accuracy, having worn it several days (and it is on a winder the rest of the time). The best I can get it to is +18 to 21 sec/day, making it among my least accurate SW200 watches. I was hoping it might "settle in" with more running but that hasn't happened yet (I have seen this happen more with Seiko movements than with SW movements though). Still, given the other attributes, I would likely buy it again given its design and the rest of the attributes. As a final point, Christo is very quick to communicate in helpful ways.

Long Weekend

Store owner replied: Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review Gary! I'm delighted you're enjoying the design, finishing and presentation of the watch. Regarding the accuracy, the SW200 is specified at ±20 seconds/day, so while your watch is still within specification, it's certainly at the upper end of the tolerance. It may settle a little more with time, and there's definitely hope, other watches from the same production batch are running at around ±4 seconds/day, so every movement has its own personality. Thank you again for your support and your kind words about our customer service, it really means a lot to a passionate guy like me. Christo
